About Next Generation Men and Women: Next Generation Men & Women is an Atlanta-based non-profit organization created in 2014 by former teachers to bring college and career readiness to life for underserved high school students. Working with a teacher and a local college fellow, students form cohorts of 15-20, meet twice a week beginning in 9th grade and continue on until they graduate. Interspersed with weekly knowledge and skill development are monthly trips to different companies and colleges to be better aware of and prepared for life’s opportunities. NGM/W is also known for their signature Networking Nights and the Next Gen Games competition that was recently featured on WSB-TV. Now serving 150 students and with over 30 partners across the city, NGM/W is quickly changing how people think about the educational experience and in what ways we all can support students most in need.
